• Schedule and Tickets Announced for the 2018 Canada Cup

BC Wheelchair Sports is pleased to announce the schedule for the 2018 Canada Cup International Wheelchair Rugby Tournament.

From June 14-17, six of the world’s best wheelchair rugby teams will battle at the Richmond Olympic Oval for the 8th Canada Cup- the final international wheelchair rugby tournament before August’s World Championships in Sydney, Australia.

The exciting wheel-to-wheel action tips-off the evening of June 14 with the hosts – 3rd-ranked Team Canada taking on 6th-ranked Sweden at 5:00pm

This year’s Canada Cup features a full round-robin with each team playing each other to determine who will meet in the finals on Sunday, June 17.

“Fans can expect to see thrilling wheelchair rugby, all six teams are preparing for the World Championships and will bring great intensity to the Richmond Olympic Oval,” says Canada Cup Tournament Chair Gail Hamamoto

The Canada Cup is one of the most affordable and family-friendly sporting events in Vancouver, with Day Passes starting at $10 and free admission for kids under 12.

Thursday June 14: 5:00 vs. Sweden
Friday June 15: 9:30am vs. Denmark, 7:30pm vs Japan
Saturday June 16: 11:00am vs USA, 5:00pm vs Australia
